Entrant Parking Information

Here is some information on where to park the trailer overnight, and at the car show itself.

If overnight, there are several motels and hotels with trailer parking. You would then drive the car to the show. The Americana is the official lodging place for the show and is giving attendees a special rate. They have ample trailer parking space. The Embassy suite is another hotel which attendees have indicated has space for trailers.  Other places may also have space – Little America, for instance, but you would need to speak to them directly.

If you are wanting to drive the trailer to the show field, there are three options. We do not have trailer parking at the show field itself due to space restriction. We do have some very workable solutions, however.

1. Is to park in the available street parking west of the show field. It is in a residential area, so we ask that you be respectful of that.
2. Cherry Street and San Francisco parking area – you will have to pay for 2 parking spaces – all day rate. $1.00/hour/space 9 am – 5 pm on Saturdays. You would park the trailer in the lot, unload the car and drive the two blocks back to the show. You can sign up online and even reserve their spots. You need to set up an account for that. 3. Thorpe Park Parking area – the one set up for the softball fields. 600 N. Thorpe Park Rd. It is a bit farther up the road.  It is farther away but larger and free. Again, you would park the trailer there and then drive the car the short way back.

Attached are maps of both locations, showing the path from the car show venue to the parking areas. The car show is at Flagstaff City Hall Parking lot on Aspen Street, and is indicated as “A”.
