The Route 66 Car Club of Flagstaff brings together people who share a love of cars, community, and the legendary Route 66 “Mother Road.” Our members enjoy a variety of social activities throughout the year, including car shows, cruises, culinary outings, parades, and community car displays. We are proud to support our local community by participating in area events and contributing to local charitable organizations. Most importantly, there are no restrictions on the type, make, model, or year of vehicle you own—membership simply begins with a love of cars and an interest in sharing that enthusiasm with others.
The club is comprised of an eclectic group of friends who enjoy meeting new people, sharing a common interest in all kinds of vehicles, and enjoying the fellowship and camaraderie of our members. OUR PRIMARY GOAL IS TO HAVE FUN!! We enjoy “hanging out” together, attending social events throughout Flagstaff and northern Arizona, and organizing cruises, rallies, and other activities. Our mission is to encourage the acquisition, preservation, restoration, exhibition, and touring of older motorized vehicles while promoting fellowship and cooperation among our members and within the community. We actively participate in local events, support charitable causes through proceeds from raffles and car show entry fees, and promote an appreciation and interest in all types of motorized vehicles.
General meetings of the Route 66 Car Club of Flagstaff are held on the second Wednesday of each month. Annual membership dues are $40, due January 1, with dues prorated by quarter for those joining later in the year. A membership includes up to two individuals, and ownership of a classic or show car is not required—just an interest in cars and enjoying the club’s activities. Members receive a monthly newsletter by email and can participate in the many cruises and events scheduled throughout the year, all designed with one goal in mind: having fun!
